Gladys Ave由留英设计师罗然于2017年在上海创立。得益于效力新潮设计师品牌和百年男装高定屋的多重阅历，在深谙时尚风向动态的专业眼光下，她更理解一件服装的好质感离不开工艺打磨和精湛细节。将男装高定所倡导的对工艺精打细磨，与女装风尚追崇的唯美视角相结合是罗然致力已久的个人愿景，坚持着实用主义与理想态度，Gladys Ave由此成立。
“理解衣服”在罗然看来是做好产品的基础，亦是Gladys Ave的立牌之本。衣服，既是一种抽象的载体，承载着每一位现代女性的坚持和信仰，是有内涵、有故事、有创新，层次饱满的精神世界。但同时，它又是一件真实的物品，只有穿在身上，才能感受到面料、廓形和细节等微妙存在。从概念到现实，只有做到深入浅出，一件有灵魂的优质单品才能诞生。精益求精的不懈态度贯穿在Gladys Ave的每一个系列中，设计师罗然表示：“我希望自己做的每一个系列都比上一个好，呈现出新女性的进步姿态。” 完美或许无法即刻达成，但追随完美的脚步不会停止。为此，设计师亲自试装每一件样衣，在高标准的制作工序之后，确保每件成衣在工艺、面料、细节等综合体验上达到理想效果。制作能够满足真实需求，与此同时形神俱佳的好衣服成为Gladys Ave的坚持方向。

关于罗然
留英设计师罗然2014毕业于英国伦敦时装学院时装设计专业，并以出色作品获取优等毕业生资质。在2017年回国创办女装品牌Gladys Ave之前，她曾在英国知名设计师品牌J.W.Anderson、Craig Green以及位于伦敦Savile Row的英国百年男装高级定制店Welsh & Jefferies等多处实习、工作，拥有多元化的国际业内履历。她擅长以专业、敏锐的时装视角解读潮流，加以传统高定工艺般水准的手法打磨成衣细节和质感，用表现主义的手法，通过成衣勾勒出梦幻唯美、浪漫优雅的现代女性魅力，致力于打造能够满足真实需求、形神俱佳的好衣服。

Gladys Ave is a newly founded brand based in Shanghai. Its history traces back to its founder Ran Luo, who began her experience in the fashion industry by attending top institution UAL in London in 2010. Ran Luo then launched her brand in 2017. Her yearly experience in the field of menswear as well as her deep understanding of how to showcase high quality craftsmanship through textures and details provide the ultimate testament of her industry knowledge. Gladys Ave is the result between the combination of the skills Ran Luo acquired by working with luxury menswear brands and her pursuit of a refined aesthetic within womenswear fashion, which should apply the same techniques.
Understanding the clothes is at the basis of Ran Luo's and Gladys Ave’s product development. Clothes are part abstract, as the true carrier of the convictions and beliefs of every modern woman, conveying stories and innovation. At the same time, there’s a real element about clothes, experienced through the feeling of the fabrics and details.

Ran Luo is a UK-trained designer, graduated in Fashion Design from the London College of Fashion in 2014 with excellent qualifications for her outstanding works. Prior to launching her own fashion brand - Lady Gladys Ave - in 2017, she interned and worked for a series of iconic fashion designers such as JW Anderson, Craig Green, but also Welsh & Jefferies: British men's bespoke store in Savile Row, London. Ran Luo excels at interpreting trends from a different, smart perspective. Each of her pieces is polished in its details and textures thanks to her traditional luxury craftsmanship. With Gladys Ave, Ran Luo aims to create a modern, feminine and romantic woman, whose real needs for good cuts and high quality fabrics shall also be satisfied.
